Monmouth County Open Space Park Improvements

Description: Aided in securing Monmouth County Open Space funding for three (3) parks within the Borough of Keansburg - Donohue Park, Forest Park and St. John’s Park. Prepared sub-division plans and engineering plans/specifications for new park playground equipment, basketball court resurfacing and drainage systems. Managed contractor bidding and construction through project close out.

Township of Middletown Indoor Ice Rink

Middletown (Monmouth County), New Jersey

Description: Designed and secured agency permits for 39,810 S.F. Indoor Ice Hockey Rink located at the Middletown Township Swim Club. Fast-track project with target opening of Spring 2013. Engineering plans included layout, ingress/egress modifications, utility design, landscaping, and stormwater management.

Residential Subdivision

Date Completed: 2012

Description: Proposed nineteen (19) lot residential subdivision located on a 10.4 acre property. Design was categorized as a “Major Development” as per N.J.A.C. 7:8 (Stormwater Management Rules). Agency permits included County Planning Board, N.J.D.E.P. Wetlands, Soil Conservation District, N.J.D.E.P. Treatment Works, and Local Water & Sewer Utilities.

Parsippany-Troy Hills Schools Parking Lot Improvements

Description: Parking lot and pedestrian safety upgrades at the Lake Hiawatha Elementary School, Mount Tabor Elementary School, Brooklawn Middle School, Central Middle School. Work included survey, parking lot layout, grading and drainage design for storm pipes and detention basins, site plan preparation, professional testimony, agency permitting and construction administration.

Prior work for the School District included the site design for (7) school additions in 2006 with Parette Somjen Architects, LLC.
